About the kits
What comes in a kit?
It depends on the kit! The Miniature Highland Cow Kit includes 5 handmade plaster Highland Cows, 6 acrylic paint colours, 2 paint brushes, our Colour Mixing Guide and a thank you card. The Highland Cow 360 Kit includes 2 fully 3D handmade plaster Highland Cows you can paint all the way round, 6 paint pots and 2 paint brushes.
How big are the figures?
Sizes vary depending on the figure:
- Highland Cow 360: approx. 8.5cm
- Miniature 360 cows: approx. 4.3cm
- Miniature flat-back cows: approx. 4.8cm
The Miniature Highland Cow Kit includes a mix of miniature 360 and flat-back cows. Because every piece is hand-poured, sizes may vary slightly.
What age are the kits suitable for?
Our kits are suitable for ages 4 years to adult, so little artists, big artists and everyone in between can join in! We recommend adult supervision for younger children.
Why does my figure have a small mark or bubble?
Every plaster piece is hand-poured, so small variations, imperfections or tiny air bubbles are a natural part of handmade products. It's what makes every kit one of a kind, and they aren't considered faults.
Painting
What kind of paint is included?
Water-based acrylic paint. It's easy to clean up with water while it's wet.
Will the paint wash out of clothes?
Acrylic paint usually washes out with soap and water while it's still wet, but it can be hard to remove once dry. We recommend wearing an old shirt or apron and covering your table.
How do I mix more colours?
Use the Colour Mixing Guide included in your kit. It shows you how to create even more shades from your six paints, including our 3 Magic Mixes!
How do I keep leftover paint fresh?
Each paint pot has a snap-shut flip lid, so just close it tightly after painting.
Can I buy extra paint or brushes?
Yes! Extra 5ml paint pots are $1 a pot (minimum 2), in Red, Orange, Yellow Ochre, Lemon Yellow, Turquoise, Green, Sky Blue, Deep Blue, Purple, Magenta, Pink, Burnt Sienna, Dark Brown, White and Black. Extra paint brushes come in pairs.
Orders & shipping
How much is shipping?
We charge a flat rate of $12.95 per order Australia-wide, sent with Australia Post.
Do you ship overseas?
Not at the moment. We currently ship within Australia only.
How long will my order take?
Estimated delivery is 3–13 days from when you place your order. Each kit is handmade and carefully packaged, so please allow a little time for your order to be prepared. Delivery can take longer during busy periods like Christmas.
Will I get tracking?
Yes! Once your order is on its way, you'll receive an email with your tracking number.
Can I send a kit as a gift?
Of course! Just enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. Our kits make great gifts for birthdays, school holidays and rainy days.
Returns & problems
My order arrived damaged. What do I do?
We're so sorry! Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll happily arrange a replacement or refund.
Can I return a kit if I change my mind?
Because every kit is handmade to order, we don't accept returns or refunds for change of mind. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy for details.
